The Upper:

• The Adipower was one of the best "modern" preds without a tongue, using a super sleek design throughout the upper
• This SL (superlight) version was a limited run by Adidas, making the boots much lighter than the normal Adipower model
• The SL used a synthetic material on the upper, very similar to the SprintSkin F50 Adizero from the time
• Adidas also incorporated the rubber element along the strike zone

The Sole Plate:

• Adidas was able to use the TRX bladed design, a big fan favorite
• However, the sole plate was made very similar to the materials of the Adizero sprint frame, much lighter and thinner than the normal Adipower

Notes and Comments:

• One of the lightest Predators ever designed with a super lightweight synthetic upper
• The craftsmanship of these are more similar to an Adizero but with Pred elements, the quality is incredible on these
• Famously worn by RvP while at Manchester United
