The Upper:

• The same upper was used as in the past F50 Tunit model, but featured the Sprint Skin technology
• Adidas developed a material known as the "AdiHex" microfiber synthetic, which was supposed to be lightweight and durable
• This F50i series was famously worn by Messi and several signature Messi editions were made 

The Sole Plate:

• The Tunit model became famous for introducing an interchangeable sole plate
• The full set included 3 sets of studs, FG, SG, and HG studs that could be changed with the Tunit system to adapt to any surface

Notes and Comments:

• The F50i upper was definitely one of the cleanest and most popular uppers released in the Tunit line
  
• The tunit model was only available for a few years, then Adidas introduced a more traditional design with the F50 Adizero
