With the LZ2, Adidas rolled out a new Lethal Zone rubber element designed. Geometrically shaped and placed rubber elements were placed throughout the upper to create a large and precise strike zone
While Adidas never released a traditional "Classic" Black/Red/White Predator LZ colorway, this was the closest release to the Classic Pred colorway
The Sole Plate:
Adidas used a lightweight Sprint Frame design for the soleplate, an identical design to the original Adidas Predator LZ
The sole plate was very similar to the Adizero at the time, featuring a triangular stud shape
