The Upper:

• The X15+ Primeknit was a limited run only produced in a couple colorways that used a full Primeknit material
  
• The Primeknit is a one piece knitted upper that sort of feels like a blend between the synthetic and leather materials
• The knit material runs throughout the entire upper and the inside of the boots for added comfort

The Sole Plate:

• A one piece hard plastic material was used, with half a dozen grooves throughout the boot to make the sole plate a bit more flexible
• A triangular 3-D stud design was used, very similar to the Vapor XI model
• There were also several smaller studs used to help with traction near the mid foot area
• Overall, the soleplate was lightweight, but still a bit stiff 

Notes and Comments:

• This Primeknit X15.1 was a different take on the newly designed speed boots by Adidas
• Previously, Adidas had released a couple limited edition Primeknit models a few years back, but this was the first general release
• The upper and inner material was super soft, not leathery soft, but the softness closer to putting on a sweater
• They were still lightweight, but the fully knitted material did add some weight to the upper
