The Upper:

• The original Magista was a brand new silo introduced by Nike for only a few short years, and it was their first ever "sock" boots, featuring the dynamic sock collar
• This is the iconic launch colorway that was released for the world cup in 2014
  
• The flyknit provided tons of stability and support with a honeycomb like knit throughout the upper

The Sole Plate:

• The Magista effectively replaced the CTR silo, and the soleplate had some similarities to the Maestri III
• A diagonal spine was added near the midfoot for extra support and stability
• The stud design used a circular design, very similar to the Tiempo Legend from this time

Notes and Comments:

• The Magista Obra was very popular from the get go, becoming a fan favorite, even with that giant sock collar
• The sock collar did provide a super secure and locked in fit, but was only used for a few years
