The Upper:

• The lightest and most durable premium leather technology at the time, making the Mercurial the lightest boots ever made
• A stitching pattern throughout the entire upper made these boots super sleek and lightweight 

The Sole Plate:

• A revolutionary plastic soleplate was used with super light materials, much lighter than anything on the market
• They featured a plastic spine that ran through the middle of the boots for extra support and structure
