The Upper:

• Throwing it back to 1999, Nike released the revolutionary KNG-100 Upper
• The lightest and most durable premium leather technology at the time, making the Mercurial the lightest boots ever made
• A stitching pattern throughout the entire upper made these boots super sleek and lightweight 

The Sole Plate:

• A hard plastic soleplate was used with super light materials, much lighter than anything on the market
• A bladed stud patter on the FG plate was used, a bit similar in design to what would be used in the Air Zoom sole plate structure

Notes and Comments:

• Famously seen worn by R9 while at Inter in the late 90's.  This R9 model featured the short tongue, which differed from the original 98 R9 with the long tongue
• A super rare piece of history
