Nike Mercurial Vapor I Chrome Lime 2002 World Cup R9 SG

New with box and original accessories - upper has some discoloration in spots, look closely at pics.  Chrome is still nice and bright in most areas.  

The Upper:

• A one piece lightweight Teijin synthetic material was used similar to the original Mercurial Vapor, Nike referred to it as the NikeSkin
• Newly designed lines on the upper made for a sleek, streamlined cosmetic design
• The sock liner used a super lightweight cushion around the heel cup for a locked down fit and added comfort
• This new synthetic replaced the former KNG-100 synthetic, for an even lighter design
• This was the iconic R9 exclusive colorway worn in the 2002 World Cup, limited to 4600 pairs, each individually numbered with a key tag

The Sole Plate:

• Nike continued with a plastic heel cup in the back, to help keep a snug fit and to prevent heel slipping
• The SG sole plate used the Nike SnapStuds, aluminum tipped studs 
  

Notes and Comments:

• Everyone remembers R9 lighting it up in the 2002 World Cup, especially his super shiny Chrome boots
  
• An iconic pince of World Cup and R9 history, with original box and all original accessories
• The upper has some spots of discoloration if you look closely in the pics, more pics available upon request
• Box is fully in tact but has some damage
