Nike Mercurial Vapor X Black SG Pro
Good used condition - used a few times, upper and sole plate both in good shape. Studs have been converted to a SG pro plate.
The Upper:
- Nike continued with the preferred Mercurial material, the Teijin Synthetic upper
- A super lightweight and sleek design, this Mercurial model had very similar characteristics to the Vapor VIII model
The Sole Plate:
- Nike made the switch from a glass fiber sole plate to a compressed nylon material
- This material allowed for a bit more flexibility throughout, even though it was more of a simplistic look
- This is a SG Pro version that has been converted from FG to SG pro, using a combination of FG studs and 6 aluminum studs
Notes and comments:
- The Vapor X didn't go over the top with fancy new things, but was one of the most effective Mercurials
- A simpler look added comfort and flexibility throughout the upper and soleplate
