The Upper:
- The Mizuno Monarcida Pro model is a speed boot designed with super high quality lightweight materials
- The upper uses a microfiber leather material to give the look and feel of K leather, but this material is much lighter that what was used on Morelia models
- The stitching pattern throughout the upper created a nice strike zone
- The upper material is really high quality, a leather feel to it but it is super lightweight providing more of a speed boot type look and feel
The Sole Plate:
- The sole plate uses a one piece plastic design that featured an "X" like reinforcement near the mid foot providing stability
- The sole plate was made of a lighter material than the Morelia, keeping the feel of the speed boot in mind
- Circular studs were used for traction on all surfaces including grass, turf, dirt, etc.
Notes and Comments:
- The Monarcida model isn't as well known as the Morelia, but it is a great speed boot using super high quality materials and providing a lightweight design
- The material throughout the upper is soft and flexible with that leather feel to it, similar to the leather adizeros from back in the day
- Made in Vietnam
