The Upper:
- A super soft premium K leather upper was used throughout the entire upper on this speciali model
- The toe box used a stitching pattern that created several grooves for added texture and touch
- The tongue was quite unique on these boots, a large flappy fold over tongue with a velcro adhesive. The velcro meets at that bottom of the tongue, over the leather lace cover on the boots
The Sole Plate:
- Umbro was famous for using their "Wishbone" sole plate during this time period
- A one piece plastic soleplate that was reinforced in the middle with a wishbone like design
Notes and Comments:
- Overall a very premium boot from Umbro with quality throughout
- The lace cover on the boots is pretty discrete and blends in with the overall construction of the upper, it also allows for a velcro adhesive to keep the fold over tongue down
