The Upper:
- Based off the Phantom Luna Elite model, the Phantom Luna Pro was the middle tier model that used a very similar approach to the elite model
- The uppers were nearly identical, using a full Nikeskin upper with a knitted DF sock collar
- The upper used a newly designed strike zone with a wave like design for maximum power
The Sole Plate:
- The soleplate on the Academy model featured the same stud configuration as the elite model, using a series of diagonal studs
- The Luna sole plate featured the "Cyclone 360" design, using a stud configuration in a circular pattern for maximum support and traction while turning
Notes and Comments:
- THe Phantom Luna had a nice flexible upper and DF sock collar for a secure fit
- The sole plate was completely different than the previous Phantom models, designed to increase traction while turning and cutting
