The Upper:
- The normal upper on the MV2 series was synthetic material, but these are a one off run, produced in a super lightweight K leather upper
- Nike released one colorway in the MV1 and MV2 series as a K leather edition
- The cosmetic design was nearly identical, but the K leather featured a very soft and thin leather upper
- They also featured stitching along those super sleek lines on the sides, a featured that was not used on the synthetic models, but was a spec that R9 used on most of his boots
The Sole Plate:
- There wasn't a change from the original Mercurial Vapor model, Nike continued with the very lightweight plastic design
- Nike continued with a plastic heel cup in the back, to help keep a snug fit and to prevent heel slipping
Notes and Comments:
- One of the most iconic Mercurials to date! Everyone loves the simple single color upper design
- This K leather edition is one of the most exclusive MV2 models to find, with very few pairs made and even fewer left in existence
- They are in perfect, even factory unlaced condition, with original box and all accessories
- If you notice the sole plate, the glue has discolored a bit. There are no signs of cracking or structural damage, but we can not make any product lifetime guarantees
