- The upper uses a full synthetic material throughout, designed after the top end Mercurial Vapor model, featuring an identical cosmetic approach
- The synthetic material is lightweight and flexible, but is slightly thicker than the top model boots
The Sole Plate:
- This Vapor 13 model used a two piece split sole plate design
- This Academy model used a very similar layout to the top model, using a combination of circular and chevron studs
Notes and Comments:
- The Academy version looks very similar to the top model but uses slightly thicker materials overall
- The Vapor 13 was wildly popular amongst pros, using one of the cleanest and most timeless upper designs
