The Upper:
- The first of its kind, the original Preds featured a K leather upper fitted with rubber vamps
- The rubber vamps were the latest technology created by Craig Johnston for maximum power and curve
- An alligator scale like design was used throughout the boots
- The Pred began with the iconic rubber tongue that would become a staple for the Predator line
The Sole Plate:
- A ribbed plastic sheet on the bottom was used for maximum stability
- This FG Liga version used circular rubber studs

- The start of the world's most iconic football boot line, unlike anything the world had ever seen
- The rubber elements made the striking zone extra prominent and were the newest feature on boots
