Nike Tiempo Legend III Elite White Black SG
New with tags - upper has a few glue marks on the outside of the boot, some peeling along sock liner (see last pic). Unused, new with tags condition.
The Upper:
- This Tiempo Elite model changed from using a K leather upper to a KangaLite upper, the newest tech by Nike at the time
- The KangaLite was technically a synthetic material, but had a buttery soft leather feel
- A foldover tongue and a unique stitching pattern across the toe box was used
The Sole Plate:
- The Legend III Elite series was the first Tiempo to use the carbon fiber sole plate, the lightest sole plate made by Nike at the time
- This is the SG variant with 6 screw in studs
Notes and Comments:
- Like every other Tiempo Legend, these just scream class
- The transition to the KangaLite upper was perceived nicely, as this was the same upper used on the beloved CTR model
