The Upper:
- Throwing it back to 1999, Nike released the revolutionary KNG-100 Upper
- The lightest and most durable premium leather technology at the time, making the Mercurial the lightest boots ever made
- A stitching pattern throughout the entire upper made these boots super sleek and lightweight
The Sole Plate:
- A hard plastic soleplate was used with super light materials, much lighter than anything on the market
- This was the SG variant that used 6 aluminum tipped studs
- Sole plate in excellent condition, without any cracks
Notes and Comments:
- Famously seen worn by R9 while at Inter in the late 90's. This R9 model featured the short tongue, which differed from the original 98 R9 with the long tongue
- A super rare piece of Mercurial history, a must for any Mercurial and Ronaldo R9 collection
