Nike Phantom Venom Academy Turf Grey

The Upper:
- The Phantom Venom Academy model was based off the top end Phantom Venom Elite, a very short lived, but wildly popular boot by Nike
- The upper on the Academy model used a Nike Skin design that was a one piece synthetic material, slightly thicker and more padded than the top model
- The Academy modeled featured a slightly ribbed rubber material near the instep, which added some texture on the boots and created a strike zone
The Sole Plate:
- This is the turf version using a series of circular grooves for maximum traction on turf and artificial pitches
Notes and Comments:
- Overall, the upper is rather nice on these, with a similar cosmetic approach to the top model
- For a turf model, the Phantom Venom has a nice upper to them and is a super high quality option
