The Upper:
- A premium leather upper with a lightweight stitching pattern, and overall a very thin and flexible
- They featured a giant fold over tongue that flapped over the laces
- This Tiempo Premier D model was wildly popular amongst players in the 1994 World Cup, using the softest leather available at the time an that iconic flappy tongue
- In fact, even a young Ronaldo R9 wore this exact model in his earlier years, prior to the release of the Mercurial
The Sole Plate:
- Pretty consistent for the time period, a one piece plastic sole plate that was screwed in at the top and bottom
- The studs used 6 screw in plastic (not aluminum) studs
Notes and Comments:
- An incredible piece of Nike history, this iconic boot is famously remembered as one of the most popular boots of the 94 World Cup
- The upper is surprisingly soft and flexible, it's better leather than most of the boots made today - unsure if it is K or calf leather but it is not stiff at all like a lot of the pre 2000's boots are
