The Upper:
- A super high quality cow leather upper material was used, very soft and flexible with an identical feel to K leather
- THe Icon was a newly designed Copa model that used a timeless design throughout, the white stripes, the white heel, and the full black leather upper
- The stitching pattern was nearly identical to the original Copa model as well, the main difference was the lack of the flappy tongue
The Sole Plate:
- The Icon model used a much more modern day sole plate design, using a super lightweight and flexible "TorsionFrame" sole plate
- Crescent studs were used, consistent with many of the top end Adidas boots
Notes and Comments:
- What a boot these were by Adidas and the extension of the Copa line! Major flashbacks to the OG Copas, but with a much higher end sole plate
- As big brands have shifted away from K leather, this cow leather that was used was exceptional, very high quality and flexible
- One of the few modern day boots that you will be impressed with the quality, very reminiscent of some classic designs
