The Upper:
- The Legend 9 academy used a blend of a mesh like material around the back of the boots combined with a synthetic material that featured a printed diamond like pattern throughout
- The diamond pattern was used to create a larger strike zone and for a nice textured feel
The Sole Plate:
- This is the turf version, that used a rubber sole plate with dozens of diagonal grooves for maximum traction on turf and artificial pitches
Notes and Comments:
- Overall, this Legend 8 model used a fully synthetic upper, but it had a nice texture throughout for a decent strike zone
- The back meshing material made the boots breathable and rather flexible, providing a well rounded fit for all foot types
