The Upper:
- This Ace Primeknit model switched from using the synthetic material on the normal Ace to a full Primeknit upper, a one piece knitted material that was super lightweight and flexible
- Primeknit was a knitted material used on various Adidas models over the years and provided a sock like feel
- They also featured a high top dynamic sock collar for a secure, locked in fit
The Sole Plate:
- Adidas used a sprintframe soleplate, with a circular stud shape
- The previous Adidas models used a triangular stud shape, so this was a major change from the previous models
- This is the SG pro version, using a combination of moulded studs and 6 screw in aluminum studs
Notes and Comments:
- The upper on the Primeknit was actually quite soft and provided a very snug fit with good touch on the ball
- The sock collar may not have exactly turned out as planned for a cosmetic look, but it is made out of the same Primeknit material for a soft and comfortable fit
