Adidas tested out a completely new material called the TensionTape
The TensionTape was a synthetic cloth like material that was a once piece design that wrapped around the entire upper for a snug tape like fit
The entire upper was one piece and used a dynamic sock collar at the top for a super secure and locked in fit
The Sole Plate:
The TorsionFrame soleplate was a rather popular design, using a chrome finish
A 2 piece split sole plate was used with a stud layout that was very similar to the F50 Adizero models
Notes and Comments:
The Nemeziz was only around for a few short years, but was worn by Messi and Firmino
Overall, the upper was extremely flexible and did provide a very secure and comfortable fit
The TensionTape had more of a sock like feeling to it, and was very soft for a synthetic material. It didn't have a plastic or rubber feel to it like some other synthetic models
