The Upper:
- The Superfly 6 used a full flyknit upper with a high tenacity yarn material to create a super lightweight and comfortable upper
- The Dynamic sock collar was made of flyknit, providing a secure and licked in fit
- This is a limited Nike ID Heritage run inspired by the original R9 Mercurial that was only available for a very short period of time
The Sole Plate:
- A major change from the previous model, Nike stopped using a carbon fiber bottom
- Nike introduced a lightweight plastic design with triangular studs for maximum traction
Notes and Comments:
- The Superfly VI had a very sock like fit, with the upper feeling like a closely knit sock
- The sole plate Nike switched to wasn't as aesthetically pleasing, but it turned out to be very durable and just as lightweight
- This is a very limited edition boot, exclusively sold on NikeID for a very short period of time
