The Upper:
- Based off the iconic Mercurial Vapor XI and Superfly V, the Veloce model was a super high end mid tier boot that had a lot of similar components to the top model Superfly V
- The upper used a Teijin microfiber material throughout, the Teijin material was commonly used on top model Mercurial Vapors
- The upper even features the same grooves to create a ribbed lie texture throughout, a spec that was used on the Superfly V for added touch and feel
- The DF sock collar is also rather nice, using a flyknit material to provide ample support and comfort
- The upper has very similar thinness and the same lightweight feel as the top model
The Sole Plate:
- A very similar sole plate design to the top end Vapor and Superfly model was used
- The same chevron studs were used throughout to create maximum traction while cutting and turning
Notes and Comments:
- The Veloce III uses a fantastic upper, a full Teijin microfiber throughout, which was the material used on most top model Mercurial Vapors in the past. The main difference is the upper material being Teijin, instead of flyknit that was used on the top model
- The upper is very lightweight and features the grooved texture, similar specs to the top model
- The sole plate is nearly identical to the top model pairs as well
