The Upper:
- The Special Edition Limited release of the Kobe PHantom 6 Elite is one of the most exclusive limited releases by Nike, selling out nearly instantly worldwide
- The Phantom 6 model used a two part design, a knitted material throughout, and a Nike Grip Knit layer over the knitted material
- The knitted material throughout the upper allowed for a secure and locked in fit while remaining lightweight and comfortable
- The GripKnit layer was a thin coating over top that provided a super thin control element along the boots, creating a strike zone in the instep, and condition around the outsides of the boots
- This is the DF version, featuring the dynamic sock collar and lace closure, providing extra support and a very secured and locked in fit
The Sole Plate:
- A lightweight plastic soleplate with a combination of several different stud shapes was used for extra traction
- This SE release uses a chrome plated sole plate, a nice addition to the boots
Notes and Comments:
- A super limited run by Nike, in collaboration with the Kobe brand to create a signature boots
- The details on these are incredible, a simple colorway with a very clean and well designed upper
