The Upper:
- The Legend 9 academy used a blend of a mesh like material around the back of the boots combined with a super soft synthetic material near the midfoot and strike zone
- Compared to other legends, the Legend 9 used more of a synthetic approach, but the upper was still rather flexible with some nice texturing throughout the strike zone
- Near the toe area, a felt like strip was used to help reinforce the area
- This is the kids version
The Sole Plate:
- This is the turf version that used a rubber soleplate with dozens of diagonal grooves for added traction on turf and artificial grass surfaces
Notes and Comments:
- Overall, this Legend 9 model used a fully synthetic upper, but it had a nice texture throughout for a decent strike zone
- The back meshing material made the boots breathable and rather flexible, providing a well rounded fit for all foot types
