The Upper:
- Nike used a teijin synthetic material throughout the upper of the T90, the Teijin was slightly more padded and reinforced than how it was used on the Mercurial
- The extra padding was used for added power along with the extra large strike zone in the T90 series
- A new rubber element was introduced, again, covering a lot of surface area for a large strike zone
The Sole Plate:
- A one piece plast sole plate with bladed studs was used. The stud configuration was reminiscent of the famous Intertract sole plate used on the prevous Air Zoom Total 90 series
Notes and Comments:
- I think everyone who had the T90 thinks of playing like Wayne Rooney with this Laser III model
- The ultimate power boots as worn by Rooney, Fernando Torres, and many more
